• Salary up to £37,000 (depending on experience)

As an Ocean Freight Operator, you’ll be responsible for managing import and export shipments from start to finish, ensuring customers receive a seamless service throughout the shipping process.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing FCL and LCL ocean freight shipments from booking through to final delivery
• Liaising with shipping lines, overseas agents, hauliers and customers
• Preparing and checking shipping documentation
• Coordinating customs requirements and ensuring compliance
• Monitoring shipments and proactively communicating updates
  
  Handling quotations and maintaining excellent customer relationships
• Resolving any operational issues efficiently and professionally

• Previous experience within Ocean Freight Operations
• Knowledge of import and export procedures
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding documentation
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast‑paced environment
• Experience with customs processes would be advantageous
