Shift pattern:
Mon‑Thurs 08:00 – 17:00 / Fri 08:00 – 14:00 (early finish!)

39.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hands‑on Maintenance Manager to join a growing and forward‑thinking manufacturing business based in Oldbury. Operating at the cutting edge of manual and robotic wet paint applications, the company supports a diverse client base across automotive, defence, medical, and consumer goods sectors.

Due to continued growth and internal restructuring, the business is strengthening its engineering function and is looking for a driven leader to take ownership of maintenance operations across two sites.

• Lead and manage all planned and reactive maintenance activities
• Own and develop the Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule
• Deliver and oversee engineering projects from concept through to completion
• Provide regular reports on monthly engineering performance and objectives
• Drive improvements in equipment performance and overall site efficiency
• Ensure Health & Safety standards are consistently met and maintained
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders across the business

• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background
• Ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience in fault finding on pumps, motors, and related systems
• Knowledge of pneumatics and fluid logic systems
• Background in automotive or paint processes (highly desirable)
• Experience with ABB robotics (advantageous but not essential)

• Proven ability to manage projects and drive improvements
• Experience managing or using Excel‑based PM systems
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Calm under pressure with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
• Committed to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Flexible approach:
  • Supporting across two sites when required
  • Occasional overtime and call‑outs
  • Providing holiday/shift cover when needed
