The ward service department currently have positions available for people who would like to work in a busy healthcare setting and are willing to work hard to help make the patient stay a safe one by maintaining a high level of cleanliness.
These positions involve cleaning of wards, departments, Theatres, isolation areas and general areas. We also provide breakfast, lunch and supper meal services to in-patients
Main duties of the jobThe main duties are cleaning wards, departments, Theatres, isolation areas and general areas to a high standard. This includes cleaning of sanitary areas i.e bathroom and W/C's. The use of heavy industrial cleaning machines i.e scrubber dryers.
Ward Services also provide food and beverage services to in-patients.
Full training will be given but previous cleaning experience is required. Previous catering experience is desirable.

Person specification Experience- Experience in hospital cleaning desirable but not essential
