Assistant Manager – Full Time

Location:

Cape Hill, Smethwick. Permanent full‑time position (43 hours a week, 5 days).

43 hours across 5 days per week. Salary: £30,240 – £31,392 per annum.

• Work closely with the shop manager to run an efficient shop and provide a great service to our customers.
• Be responsible for the development of your team of retail assistants through coaching, mentoring and providing feedback.
• Take on the shop in the absence of the shop manager and ensure customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly and shop routines maintained to keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.
• Motivate and guide your team to control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
• Support the shop manager with recruitment and induction of new team members.

• Some experience as a manager, team leader or supervisor.

Flexible across the week, including weekends.
