General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to support the M‑SHORAD Interim Contractor Support (ICS) and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) programs. This role is critical to ensuring the successful execution of the M‑SHORAD ICS/ILS contract within the allocated budget and schedule.
The DPM will work closely with the Program Manager and other stakeholders to oversee contract management, supplier coordination, equipment training, vehicle fielding and handoff, maintenance management, retrofit activities, procurement, corrective actions, and integrated logistics development.

- 9‑80 Work Schedule (this position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.)

- Collaborate with the Program Manager to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded, putting the customer first
- Foster a positive and inclusive organizational environment to build a cohesive and high‑performing team, creating a workplace of choice
- Represent the program as the lead decision‑maker during customer and internal meetings, as needed
- Lead program risk management efforts, including biweekly risk review boards, and present risks to both the customer and GDLS leadership during formal reviews
- Develop analyses to determine the allocation of management reserve to mitigate overall program risks
- Create and implement program plans across the cross‑functional M‑SHORAD production team
- Coordinate supplier efforts through supply chain management, ensuring key interfaces are identified and stakeholder interests are managed within scope, cost, and schedule
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing timely updates and keeping management informed on program status; communicate with a purpose
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field - Advanced or additional degree in business administration is a plus
- Experience:
10+ years of relevant experience in program or logistics management - Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve objectives and meet performance metrics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other tools to develop presentations and media displays
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Proven ability to operate independently and resolve complex issues autonomously
- Knowledge of business finances, project budget management, forecasting, scheduling tools, and critical‑path analysis
- Exposure to Oracle applications and Teamcenter
- Must be able to obtain a DoD clearance and passport
- Occasional domestic travel required to production facilities, government locations, and/or suppliers
