Polishing Operative

Location: Wednesbury

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Wednesbury for an experienced Polishing Operative. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company offering ongoing work and a choice of day or night shifts.

Shift Patterns & Pay Rates

Day Shift

• Monday to Thursday: 9:00am 6:00pm

• Friday: 8:00am 5:00pm

• Pay rate: £13.50 per hour

Night Shift

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00pm 3:00am

• Friday: 5:00pm 2:00am

• Pay rate: £16.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Polishing stainless steel flat rolled materials to the required finish

• Operating polishing machinery safely and efficiently

• Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment

• Following all health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience polishing stainless steel flat rolled products

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Reliable, hardworking, and committed
