Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing/Production Engineer – West Bromwich – B70

4 Day working week – Monday-Thursday – 6:00am-4:00pm

My client are set up to help fill the gap of reliable subcontract machining service, not only in the West Midlands but throughout Europe. They are MANUFACTURERS
OF SPECIALIST ROLL TOOLING and offer complete end-to-end and turn key solutions to solve any problem. They also offer a Nationwide 24/7 breakdown service and In-House Machining for both tubes and sections.

I'm seeking a motivated individual to join on a permanent basis within a small team of 7/8 members of staff. If you're passionate about precision machining and have experience as a Production/Manufacturing engineer with Fusion 360 or ONECNC, I'm keen to speak with you.

Key Responsibilities:

* Hands on programming with CNC milling and Turning machines using Fusion 360/ONECNC software.

* Utilizing lathes and mills all with Fanuc controls.

* Utilize your knowledge of machining to optimize production processes and achieve high-quality results.

* Develop and implement off-line programming solutions, streamlining efficiency and minimizing downtime.

* Collaborate with production team to ensure smooth workflow, troubleshoot issues, and maintain production schedules.

* Adhere to strict quality control standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

* Training of staff within manufacturing.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a CNC Milling/Turning CAD/CAM Programmer.

* A working knowledge of Fusion 360/ONECNC software.

* Proficiency in multi-axis machining operations – predominantly 3 and 3+2 axis milling, and turning with C and Y axis capabilities.

* Solid background in offline programming, enabling you to optimize machine efficiency and minimize program errors.

* Strong mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail to ensure precision in every machining task.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* Familiarity with quality control measures and safety protocols in machining operations.

* Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
