We are working with a long-established manufacturing business in the West Bromwich area who are looking to add a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to their day shift team. This is a stable, hands-on role supporting a busy production environment with well-maintained machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across site machinery and plant
Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs to minimise downtime
Support preventative maintenance schedules to improve equipment reliability
Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations
Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and housekeeping
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience in a mechanical maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
Experience with preventative maintenance systems
Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
Health & Safety conscious with a proactive approach
