CNC 3 Axis Operator

Major Recruitment Oldbury are delighted to be recruiting for a professional engineering organisation who are seeking a 3 Axis CNC Operator to join their busy Darlaston site.

Duties and tasks will include:

• Set up and operate 5 Axis Hurco's and a ROEDER using setting sheets.
• Conversational program, set up and operate Hurco 5-AXIS to produce precise components to specification using Win Max software at the console.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Check your own work using a range of measuring equipment.
• Completing one offs and batch work.
• Ensure that production requirements are met in line with the production schedule.

Candidates welcome to apply for the role will have the following:

• a min of 5 years' experience of machining with experience in Aerospace desirable.
• Experience of working on Hurco is essential.
• An ability to program and work with minimal supervision is a necessity.
• Experience of 3,2 & 5 Axis Machining
• Experience of working with graphite would be beneficial.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 10 hours between 6am and 6pm, Friday is overtime which will be provided on a weeks notice, and parking is available.
