Slitter Setter​/Operator

This is a full-time on-site role for a Slitter Setter/Operator at our Cradley Heath location Monday - Thursday. The Slitter Setter/Operator will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and operating slitting machines to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of metal coils. Key tasks include machine adjustments, quality checks during the production process, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

• Previous experience in operating and setting up slitting machines or similar machinery
• Attention to detail and quality assurance, with the ability to perform consistent quality checks
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and the ability to maintain a safe working environment
• Strong organizational and efficiency skills, including time management and task prioritization
• Physical fitness for manual handling and working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in the steel or metal processing industry is a plus
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with colleagues effectively
