We are currently recruiting for an experienced Spot Welder to join a busy manufacturing electrical business based in West Bromwich. This is a great opportunity for someone with welding or production experience who is looking to join a well-established manufacturing environment and work as part of a supportive team.

The Role

As a Spot Welder, you will be responsible for operating spot welding equipment, producing parts to the required quality standards, and supporting daily production targets in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set and operate spot welding machines and associated equipment.
  • Produce components accurately and in line with production requirements.
  • Check parts against drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Carry out basic machine checks and report any faults or production issues.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records where required.
  • Keep the work area clean, organised, and compliant with 5S standards.
  • Follow all health, safety, and company procedures at all times.
  • Work as part of a team to meet production targets and support continuous improvement.
About You
  • Previous experience in spot welding, robotic welding, or a similar manufacturing role is .
  • Ability to read and work from basic drawings or job instructions.
  • Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work rotating shifts.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude towards health and safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Hours of Work

This role works on a rotating shift pattern:

  • Morning shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm
  • Afternoon shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Pay: £15.50 per hour, weekly pay
