Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 16:00 | Friday 07:00 - 12:30

The RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Wire EDM Programmer to join a highly skilled engineering team.
- Program, set and operate Wire EDM machinery
- Manufacture precision press tooling, fixtures and engineered components
- Interpret CAD data and detailed engineering drawings
- Produce components to tight tolerances and exact specifications
- Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy throughout production
Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance activities - Support continuous improvement initiatives within the machining department
- Conduct self‑inspection using a range of measuring equipment
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet delivery schedules
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
- Experience programming, setting and operating Wire EDM machinery
- Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Experience working from CAD data and technical specifications
- Strong understanding of precision engineering and tight tolerance manufacturing
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Experience using Agie & Charmilles Wire EDM machines
- Knowledge of P.E.P.S., Opticam or Visi software
- Experience with in toolmaking, press tooling or low‑volume precision manufacturing
