Precision matters. Join a team where quality comes first. We are looking for a Laser Cutting Operator to strengthen our team
We manufacture high-quality components and signage for some of the world's leading companies across the aerospace, automotive, rail and industrial sectors.
We're looking for a Laser Cutting Operator who takes pride in producing precision-engineered products and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you have experience operating laser marking or laser cutting equipment and a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.
Commutable from :
- Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Aston, Dudley, Solihull, Moseley, Harbourne, Halesowen, Cannock, Rugeley, Tamworth, Lichfield and Stourbridge
Duties
* Setting up and operating laser marking and laser cutting equipment.
* Loading and verifying programs, materials and job specifications.
* Producing components from engineering drawings, artwork and production instructions.
* Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments to achieve the highest levels of quality and efficiency.
* Conducting first-off and in-process inspections using measuring equipment.
* Performing quality checks to ensure every product meets customer and company standards.
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and production documentation.
Requirements
* Experience operating laser marking or laser cutting machinery.
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Basic computer skills.
* You will have gained your experience from within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Experience producing components for aerospace, automotive or industrial sectors would be strongly considered
* Experience using measuring equipment including verniers, micrometers and gauges.
