Machine Setter

The Best Connection are recruiting for a Machine Setter on behalf of our client in West Bromwich.

Salary: £17.69 per hour (includes 22% shift allowance)

Hours of Work

• Rotating shifts:
  06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00
• Day shift option available

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled manufacturing professional to support the smooth and efficient operation of machinery, ensuring conduits are produced to the required drawings and specifications.

Alongside your technical responsibilities, you will provide day-to-day leadership and support to the team, helping to maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and safety.

• Set up and operate machinery to meet production requirements
• Ensure products are manufactured in line with drawings and specifications
• Support the efficient day-to-day running of the department
• Provide guidance and support to team members
• Monitor quality standards and identify areas for improvement
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving machine-related issues

• Previous experience as a Machine Setter within a manufacturing environment
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with production machinery
• Ability to lead and support a team effectively
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
• A proactive and reliable approach to work

• Competitive hourly rate of £14.50+ depending on experience
