The Kaleidoscope Plus Group (KPG) has championed mental health and wellbeing since 1973. Our vision is to improve emotional health and transform lives across the UK.We want everyone to have access to the emotional wellbeing support they need to lead a healthy and rewarding life. We support people living in our residential services and in the community, and we provide counselling, training and workplace wellbeing programmes.
We work with individuals and organisations to make a real difference.
Like many charities, we're working in a tough funding environment. NHS and local authority contracts are under real financial pressure, while more people than ever need mental health and wellbeing support. Our Board has approved a three-year strategy that takes KPG in directions it has never been before. A big part of it is working with many more employers, schools and other organisations.
That means more people get the support they need, and KPG builds income that doesn't depend on public sector contracts.
As Head of Partnerships, you'll open doors for KPG. You'll find organisations that share our commitment to mental health and wellbeing, build trusted relationships with their leaders and work out where we can help.
You'll be part of our senior team, reporting to the Chief Executive. Our Training and Engagement Manager, Fundraising Lead and Marketing Officer will be key stakeholders, and once a relationship is ready, you'll bring in the right colleague to shape the offer and turn it into a lasting partnership. You'll work to partnership and income targets set in our business plan.
Working with colleagues across KPG, you'll help organisations:
- create healthier workplaces, where people stay well, feel supported and get help early
- respond when people need help, with the confidence and skills to support them through difficult times and critical incidents
- save lives, by recognising suicide risk, talking openly about suicide and responding when someone may be at risk
- understand neurodiversity, by creating psychologically safe environments where people can disclose their needs, and by using our new ADHD and Autism Assessment Hub
- create wider social impact, through partnerships that support their communities and KPG's work
You might come from business development, partnerships, account management or consultancy, or from the charity, education or wellbeing sectors. What matters most is your ability to understand people and organisations, build trust and turn conversations into partnerships.
You'll:
- be confident engaging with senior leaders and decision-makers
- have a track record of building relationships that led to new business or income
- be able to turn complex organisational challenges into practical proposals
- bring a commercial mindset while staying principled and values-drive
- be an excellent communicator with strong influencing skills
- have managed and developed a team
- enjoy working across teams, and be comfortable working on your own initiative
Experience in any of these would help: workplace wellbeing or employee support services; mental health, health and wellbeing; corporate social responsibility or social value partnerships; working with schools, employers or public sector organisations; and fundraising partnerships.
What we offerJoining KPG means joining an organisation that has made a difference to people's lives for more than 50 years. You'll help shape how the charity grows and build partnerships…
