About the Role
Medacs Healthcare is delighted to be working in partnership with Operose Health to recruit an Advanced Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Clinical Practitioner for their team at Summerfield Urgent Treatment Centre, Birmingham.
Permanent, part‑time, 22 hours per week; salary up to £60,000 (pro rata) depending on experience; contract type: permanent, part‑time.
About YouYou are an experienced Advanced Practitioner with a passion for delivering high‑quality care in a primary care setting. You are NMC registered, with advanced clinical practice or working towards non‑medical prescriber status. You have a minor injury and illness qualification and are committed to maintaining and monitoring high standards of care. Ideally, you hold a Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner qualification, or you are accredited or working towards ACP status.
Key Responsibilities- Provide care for patients from initial history taking and clinical assessment through to diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
- Demonstrate safe, evidence‑based clinical decision‑making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis for patients within general practice.
- Work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet patient needs, support policy and procedure delivery, and provide nurse leadership as required.
- Essential: Experience in a primary care setting.
- NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice or working towards non‑medical prescriber status.
- Minor injury and illness qualification.
- Ability to maintain and monitor standards of care.
- Desirable: Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner or working towards ACP accreditation.
- Annual salary up to £60,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
