We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established automotive business for an experienced Quality Inspector who is ready to take the next step in their career into a Shift Lead position.

Working alongside the Site Supervisor, you will play an important role in supporting the inspection team, maintaining quality standards and helping with the training and monitoring of new inspectors.

🔧 THE ROLE

Your responsibilities will include:

* Carrying out visual and functional quality inspections

* Completing rework activities in line with detailed work instructions

* Documenting inspection results accurately

* Ensuring all work complies with required quality standards

* Supporting the training and monitoring of new Quality Inspectors

* Assisting the Site Supervisor with day-to-day operations

* Using IT systems including inspection and audit platforms

* Working effectively within a fast-paced automotive environment

* Maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail

👷 ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within:

* Quality Inspection

* Quality Rework

* Production

* Manufacturing

* Automotive environments

You will also have:

* Excellent attention to detail

* Good organisational and communication skills

* Strong people skills

* Good IT competency

* Experience using inspection equipment

* The ability to support and train other team members

* A flexible approach to working various shift patterns

* The willingness to support other sites when required

Experience in paint, welding, abrasive wheel/grinding, lifting equipment or testing equipment would be advantageous, although full internal training will be provided.
