Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with flexibility for 12‑hour rotations.

We schedule hours within your availability windows and provide at least 3 weeks’ notice of shift details.

• Carry out clean‑as‑you‑go routines and maintain equipment.
• Ensure aisles remain clear during replenishment and picking.
• Follow the warehouse/storage plan and return items to their proper places.
• Keep trays for picking clean and staging areas orderly.
• Replenish shelf space so customers can find what they need.
• Prioritise high‑margin products and fill gaps as needed.
• Track product location changes after merchandising activities.
• Pull stock forward and remove cardboard to improve visibility.
• Complete stock routines accurately and on time.
• Pick online orders with the best quality and freshness, including substitutions.
• Ensure all items pick meet quality standards.

• Build relationships with colleagues to boost team spirit.
• Welcome customers warmly, listen to their needs, and thank them.
• Respond quickly to changing customer demands and adapt to store changes.
• Bring energy and drive to exceed expectations.
• Share suggestions with your manager to improve the store.
