Internal Sales Executive - Great Bridge
Salary: £27,000–£28,000 |
Hours:
8:00am-4:30pm (one 8:30am–5pm shift per week) |
Contract:
Permanent, Full Time (40 hours)
Are you an organised and motivated sales professional looking for your next career move? Our client, a fast-paced and rapidly growing distribution business, is seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join their busy commercial team. This is a key role where you’ll manage customer accounts, convert enquiries into orders, and play an active part in developing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow assigned customer accounts to meet and exceed sales targets
* Handle incoming enquiries professionally and efficiently
* Build strong product and industry knowledge to support customers
* Raise and process sales orders, purchase orders, quotations, and invoices
* Provide accurate quotations using current pricing information
* Follow up on leads to secure new business and protect profit margins
* Work closely with procurement to support buying activity
* Liaise with internal teams to meet customer expectations
* Resolve customer queries promptly and professionally
* Maintain accurate CRM records and filing systems
* Suggest improvements to processes and workflows
* Ensure all work complies with ISO
9001:2015 and company standards
* Provide general administrative and ad-hoc support as required
About You
* Minimum of 3 GCSEs (including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above)
* Passionate about sales with strong customer service skills
* Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other IT systems
* Previous experience in a similar sales or internal account role is desirable
* Experience in a distribution environment would be an advantage
