Fixed term contract for 12 months

We are recruiting for a Personal Advisor within Care Experienced Young People, this is a fixed term contact for 12 months.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced practitioners who are passionate and committed to providing support to our Care Experienced Young People.

The post holders will be responsible for:
  • Working with young people leaving care to ensure a smooth transition into independence
  • Assisting and supporting young people to prepare for independence and to support them once independent
  • Maintaining accurate records as required on the young person’s file.
You will need to have:
  • NVQ level 3 or above in a Social Care, Education, Health, Youth & Community Service or Early Years.
  • Experience of working with young people experiencing difficulties within their families.
  • Experience of working within multi-disciplined partnerships i.e. housing, welfare rights & careers guidance.
  • Experience of managing a caseload.
