Domestic Abuse Advocate (Sandwell)

Position available: 1 full-time position (37.5 hours), based in Sandwell

Salary: £24,784.50 – £26,872.22

Closing date: 13 August 2026

Is this you?

We are looking for someone who has experience working with victims/survivors of domestic abuse in one‑to‑one and group settings. You will carry a caseload that includes risk assessment, needs assessment, support planning, outcomes and case review.

The Role

The successful candidate will provide a high‑quality frontline service to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a service to those at highest risk. You will work within a multi‑agency framework consisting of MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse.

Requirements
  • Experience working with victims/survivors of domestic abuse on both one‑to‑one and in group work settings.
  • Experience in case management including risk assessment, needs assessment, support planning, outcomes and case review.
  • Ability to work within a multi‑agency framework (MARAC and local domestic abuse partnerships).
  • Must be female (occupational requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Will provide DBS checks at the relevant level.
