  • You will work collaboratively with education, health and care professionals to secure appropriate support and provision.
You will:
  • Manage a caseload across a range of statutory SEND functions, including assessments, reviews and complex casework.
  • Coordinate multi-agency contributions to Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments.
  • Draft clear, accurate and legally compliant Education, Health and Care Plans.
  • Act as a named keyworker for children, young people and their families.
  • Arrange, facilitate and chair planning meetings and annual reviews where required.
  • Work closely with schools, colleges, health professionals and other stakeholders to ensure statutory deadlines are met.
  • Analyse complex information and evidence to support decision-making.
  • Present cases to relevant panels and contribute to mediation, dispute resolution and tribunal processes where required.
  • Maintain accurate electronic case records and ensure compliance with data protection requirements.
  • Provide advice and guidance to families, schools and professionals on SEND processes and statutory requirements.
  • Contribute to service development, continuous improvement initiatives and best practice across the service.
What we're looking for:
  • Educated to A Level, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent, or substantial relevant experience.
  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet statutory deadlines.
  • Ability to analyse complex information and present it clearly in both written and verbal formats.
  • Experience of using IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • A commitment to partnership working, inclusion and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.
