Import Custom Clerk

Nuovo Foods Ltd is a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) distribution company that specializes in food and beverages. The company currently distributes its products across the United Kingdom and Europe.

This is a full-time on-site role located in West Bromwich for an Import Customs Clerk. As an Import Customs Clerk, you will be responsible for guiding the company through the complex customs clearance process, ensuring compliance with regulations and minimizing any potential import duties. Other day-to-day tasks of the role will include maintaining accurate and compliant customs declarations, coordinating with freight forwarders and other stakeholders, and producing relevant documentation.

• Experience working with UK customs regulations and requirements - Minimum 2 years experience
• Ability to navigate customs procedures and produce accurate declarations
• Demonstrated experience working with freight forwarders and other stakeholders
• Knowledge of the relevant documentation required for customs clearance
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Experience with customs compliance software is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required
