Street Cleaner Driver

Join Our Team as a Street Cleansing Operative and 3.5 Driver! MUST DRIVE!

Are you passionate about keeping your community clean and vibrant? Do you enjoy working outdoors and making a difference? Our client is seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to fill temporary positions as Street Cleansing Operatives and 3.5 Drivers based in Oldbury - Sandwell.

Shift patterns are from 6am to 6pm Monday to Friday. We request all staff can be available to cover any shift pattern. Staff are brought in to cover sickness and leave of our full time colleagues.

• Carry out both programmed and responsive street cleansing functions.
• Utilise various machinery effectively and ensure its cleanliness.
• Identify and meet key performance indicators to ensure service quality.
• Report progress to your line manager and address any concerns.
• Collaborate with your team to suggest improvements in service provision.
• Handle tasks such as litter picking, graffiti removal, and emptying bins.
• Participate in weekend rosters and snow removal during inclement weather.
• As a 3.5 Driver, safely transport your team and equipment while meeting all health and safety protocols.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Clean driving licence is desirable for all candidates.
• Previous experience in street cleansing is a plus but not essential.
