A temporary opportunity is available for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to carry out trunking work from Oldbury. This is a night-shift role offering a minimum of eight hours pay per shift.

Key responsibilities

Completing trunking runs safely and efficiently
Carrying out vehicle checks before and after each journey
Ensuring loads and paperwork are handled correctly
Following drivers hours, tachograph and road safety requirements
Maintaining clear communication with transport teams
Delivering a professional and reliable service throughout each shift

Skills and qualifications

Valid HGV Class 1 driving entitlement
Current Driver CPC qualification
Valid digital tachograph card
Previous trunking experience
Good knowledge of drivers hours and road safety regulations
Reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently
Good communication and time-management skills
