Shift: Days A temporary opportunity is available for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to support steel deliveries from a Cradley Heath operation. The role You will be responsible for completing steel deliveries safely, efficiently and professionally. The role may involve:
Driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle on planned delivery routes Delivering steel products to customers and designated locations Completing vehicle checks before departure Ensuring loads are secure and handled in line with safety requirements Completing delivery paperwork accurately Maintaining good communication with the transport and site teams Representing the business professionally when making deliveries Skills and qualifications Valid HGV Class 1 driving entitlement Relevant Driver CPC and tachograph compliance Previous experience delivering steel or similar heavy materials Good understanding of load security and safe delivery procedures Reliable, punctual and safety-focused approach Professional communication skills Ability to work independently and follow delivery instructions Benefits £18 per hour Day shifts Temporary work Minimum of 8 hours paid Paid every Wednesday Profile visible to local employers If you have suitable HGV Class 1 experience and are confident completing steel deliveries, this could be a good opportunity for you.
