Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled HGV Driver to join their dynamic team in Oldbury. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct daily refuse and recycling collections, demonstrating proficiency with all machinery aspects of the role.
Assist with refuse loading when needed, ensuring that the team completes the route within the service level agreement.
Carry out all duties in a professional manner, employing safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate for items left for removal.
Utilise in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed, ensuring real-time completion of relevant paperwork.
Perform daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles before and after use to maintain operational efficiency.
Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of all machinery and vehicles, contributing to a safe and tidy working environment.
Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other road users.

Working Hours:

Option 1: 5:45 AM to 1:45 PM
Option 2: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM What You'll Need to Succeed:

A valid HGV Class 2 driving licence with no more than 6 points.
Driver CPC certification.
A willingness to assist refuse loaders during rounds to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive interactions.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks.
A clean driver's licence is desirable but not mandatory.
