Warehouse Operative

Our operation in Wednesbury is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our fast‑paced, dynamic team.

In this role you will contribute to the smooth and efficient operational activities within the warehouse to meet and exceed customer expectations and health and safety standards. You will carry out safe and accurate physical and systemic counting and stock placement and perform warehouse administrative duties using the on‑site WMS.

SHIFT PATTERN
:
Monday to Friday, 14:00 until 22:30.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform accurate stock counts.
• Manage all operational administration, including pick waving, workflow monitoring (inbound, receipts, picking, replenishment), off‑circuit activity and live status updates.
• Ensure all work complies with legislation, company policies, SOPs, standing instructions and contract requirements.
• Safely operate company equipment in line with procedures and legal standards.
• Help create and maintain Work Instructions (WIs) in collaboration with the Compliance team.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards, including correct waste segregation.
• Use mechanical handling equipment as required (subject to holding correct licences/qualifications).

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• GCSE pass in English and Maths (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working in a dynamic warehouse environment.
• Flt licences such as Reach or Counterbalance desirable, though not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet targets and deadlines in a team setting.
