Atkore UK is looking for a Warehouse Operative who holds a valid Reach Truck Licence. The successful candidate will ensure customer orders are dispatched to both UK and export markets for our Unistrut, Marco and Flytec ranges and achieve and exceed the Warehouse department KPIs.
What you’ll do- Pick products for customer orders, check quantities and product accuracy, and pack orders for both UK and export customers.
- Complete paperwork associated with orders, including paperwork for invoice preparation, packing specifications, and consignment notes.
- Enter data via the IT system to process and dispatch orders.
- Receipting product into the finished‑goods warehouse, including data entry and booking stock onto the appropriate computer system.
- Replenish picking stock.
- Process customer collections and returns.
- Load and unload vehicles using forklift trucks.
- Communicate with internal sales personnel to provide order status information.
- Control the integrity and security of all stock, carrying out stock checks and cycle counts (PI).
- Maintain housekeeping within the warehouse environment and associated yard areas.
- A valid Reach Truck Licence.
- Relevant experience working within a warehouse environment.
- Experience using barcode scanners and related equipment.
- Experience conducting stock checks and perpetual inventory.
- Ability to use IT systems and complete data entry tasks.
- Good people and communication skills.
39 hours per week.
Sunday 10pm to 6am, Monday to Wednesday 10pm to 6am, and Thursday 10pm to 5am.
£13.00 – £14.50 per hour depending on experience plus 25% shift allowance for working nights.
