FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative
Location:
Tipton, DY4
Pay Rate: £13.49 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Ongoing
Hours:
Monday to Thursday 1:00pm – 10:00pm
Friday 12:15pm – 6:30pm
FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative – Tipton
We are currently recruiting for a hardworking and reliable FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team based in Tipton (DY4).
This is a hands-on role combining forklift truck operation with a range of manual warehouse duties. The successful candidate will be safety-focused, physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to load, unload and move goods around the warehouse.
* Load products onto vehicles in line with company procedures and health and safety standards.
* Carry out general warehouse duties including handling, sorting and moving stock.
* Complete demolition of non-returnable products following company procedures.
* Assist with receiving, storing and organising materials within the warehouse.
* Complete quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods.
* Use warehouse systems accurately to record stock movements and maintain inventory records.
* Maintain excellent housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, safe and organised working environment.
* Report any health and safety concerns, damaged equipment or operational issues.
* Support the wider warehouse team with additional duties as required.
Requirements
* Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential).
* Previous experience operating an FLT within a warehouse environment.
* Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling tasks throughout the shift.
* Reliable, punctual and hardworking with a positive attitude.
* Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
* Strong understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
* Must be willing to complete a DBS check due to the nature of materials handled on site.
Pay & Benefits
* £13.49 per hour.
* Full-time, ongoing position.
* Regular Monday to Friday working hours.
