Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and energetic Warehouse Operative to join a dynamic team in Burton (DE14 2WA
), transport will be provided from the West Bromwich area (B71) and this includes transport to and from site following your shift.

In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse, supporting shipping and receiving operations, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities
* Handle materials efficiently, including picking, packing, stocking, loading, and unloading items to meet daily operational demands
* Using hand scanners for item picking
* Manage shipping and receiving processes by accurately processing inbound and outbound shipments
* Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, update stock levels, and ensure data accuracy
* Conduct quality control checks to verify product integrity and adherence to standards
* Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while following proper manual handling procedures
* Support stock replenishment activities by organizing products on shelves and maintaining tidy storage areas
Requirements
* Proven experience working in a warehouse environment or similar setting with familiarity in materials handling
* Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory tracking tools
* Ability to load, unload, and move heavy items safely using mechanical equipment or manual techniques
* Strong attention to detail for picking, packing, and quality control tasks
* Physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts
