Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to demonstrate anatomical and physiological structures of the human body for diagnostic purposes. Produce high-quality images as directed by radiologists and physicians to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of anatomical or physiological conditions. Demonstrate strong knowledge of general and cross-sectional anatomy, appropriate technical factors, and basic computer skills. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a team-oriented environment within the department and across the hospital.
Provide exceptional patient care and customer service to all patients and staff of Great River Health Systems. Primary
Responsibilities Include:
General abdominal sonography Vascular sonography, including Doppler studies, ABIs, and segmental pressure exams OB/GYN sonography Small parts sonography across all patient populations Producing ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for physician interpretation Utilizing PACS and related imaging systems accurately and efficiently
Additional Requirements:
Basic computer proficiency and PACS knowledge required Strong communication and patient satisfaction skills
Schedule:
Day shift position One on-call night per week Every 5th weekend on-call rotation
