Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nurse in the West Burlington area. This position involves providing high-quality care to diverse patient populations, including geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, psychiatric, and telemetry patients. The role requires self-studying telemetry strips and passing a dysrhythmia test upon acceptance.

  Supports the unit during surge, delivering nursing care utilizing assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation processes. Must self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during orientation.
• Certifications/Education/
  
  Experience:
  
  License/Certificate Verification, 0 years of experience required, EPIC EMR experience in a similar unit within the last 12 months, ACLS certification.
• Schedule:
  
  36-hour work week with overtime potential;
  Days shift, 12-hour shifts.
• Additional Responsibilities:
  Float between units at different campuses, including Behavioral Health and Emergency Department if boarded patients are present. When critical care experience exists, floating to CCU or ICU may be required. Occasional on-call duties during low census periods with a response time of within one hour.
