Description of the role:
As a Nissan Certified Tech at Deery Brothers Inc., you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing Nissan vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.

• Perform routine maintenance on Nissan vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended repairs
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and accurately

• Certification as a Nissan technician
• Prior experience working on Nissan vehicles
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills

Job Summary:

Deery Brothers Inc., a leading automotive dealership in West Burlington, Iowa, is seeking a full‑time Nissan Certified Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on Nissan vehicles as well as all diagnosis required to ensure their optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This is a flat‑rate Technician / Skilled Labor position that offers competitive compensation and benefits for the right candidate.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive flat rate of $22 to $38 per hour, which will be paid weekly. In addition to the hourly rate, this position also offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement benefits, paid time off, and ongoing paid training opportunities.

• Perform routine maintenance and repair services on Nissan vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and all other necessary services
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment and tools
• Provide accurate and timely service reports for all work performed
  
  Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Keep up‑to‑date with Nissan training and certifications to ensure professional development and expertise

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be a Nissan Certified Technician
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an automotive technician
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Must have own tools
