To assist the Community Manager or Supervisor in completing any tasks that ensure the community meets the appearance, operational, and safety standards as set forth by BRG Apartments, and federal, state and local laws. This includes responding quickly and professionally to resident requests for service, troubleshooting, and taking appropriate corrective action.
Responsibilities- Repair, replace or install faucets, pipes, hot water tanks, toilets, garbage disposals, dishwashers, water‑dispensing refrigerators, or washing machines.
- Repair, replace or install power switches, fuses, wall sockets, ceiling lights, ceiling fans, climate control systems, or garage door openers.
- Fill holes caused by nails, minor dents from normal wear and tear, or larger holes caused by damage (typically performed when a tenant vacates a unit and a new renter moves in).
- Perform minor paint touch‑ups following damage repair to new coats of paint applied to unit walls.
- Repair, replace or install household appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, range ovens, washers and dryers, hot water tanks, and air conditioners.
- Perform preventative maintenance on heating and air‑conditioning systems, plumbing fixtures, sprinkler system, smoke detector and fire extinguishers.
- Carry out seasonal maintenance for swimming pools, including opening procedures, daily maintenance and end‑of‑season close‑down procedures.
- Maintain health and safety equipment such as sprinkler systems or smoke detectors.
- Install locks.
- Perform HVAC maintenance and repairs.
- Participate in the on‑call rotation.
- Minimum of 2‑3 years previous maintenance experience.
- EPA Certification required.
- Driver’s License (Required).
- Auto Insurance (Required).
