Position OverviewThe Dayton Dutch Lions USLW League program is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Assistant Soccer Coach to support the development and competitive success of our USLW League team. This role is ideal for an individual who is committed to player development, high-performance environments, and contributing to a positive and professional team culture.
Responsibilities- Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting training sessions
- Support match‑day preparation, tactical organization, and in‑game management
- Contribute to individual and team player development
- Assist with fitness, recovery, and injury‑prevention programming in collaboration with staff
- Help foster a positive, disciplined, and inclusive team culture
- Participate in team meetings, film analysis, and player evaluations
- Support administrative or operational tasks as needed during the season
- Previous coaching experience at the youth, high school, college, semi‑professional, or professional level
- Educational background in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy (PT), or a related field preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required during the season
- United Soccer Coaches licenses and/or U.S. Soccer coaching licenses
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- Strength & Conditioning or sports performance certifications are a plus
Compensation for this position is commensurate with experience, education, and coaching certifications
