Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to support billing, payment reconciliation, and sales support activities in a fast-paced business environment. This role works closely with sales, accounting, and customer contacts to help ensure accurate invoicing, timely payment application, and resolution of account discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

+ Process and reconcile customer payments and open receivables balances.

+ Review sales and payment records to identify discrepancies and support monthly account reconciliation.

+ Prepare and issue customer invoices and assist with quote-to-cash documentation.

+ Partner with the sales team to help resolve billing issues, pricing questions, short payments, and customer account concerns.

+ Maintain accurate customer account records, payment activity, and supporting documentation.

+ Track purchase order updates and assist with customer pricing adjustments, credits, and debits as needed.

+ Support reporting and account analysis using Microsoft Excel and other business systems.

+ Communicate with internal teams and customer contacts regarding invoice status, payment follow-up, and account questions.

Requirements

Qualifications

+ 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, accounting support, or a related field.

+ Experience supporting sales, customer service, or order-to-cash processes preferred.

+ Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including spreadsheets, formulas, and data reconciliation.

+ High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
