Summary A non-public charter school in West Chester, Ohio, is seeking a Middle School Math & Science Teacher to inspire and challenge students in grades 4–9 through engaging, inquiry-based learning. The school serves preschool through eighth grade and is dedicated to providing a supportive, academically focused environment where every student can grow in both skill and character. This role plays a key part in fostering curiosity, responsibility, and lifelong learning in middle school learners.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and deliver clear, engaging instruction in math and science aligned with curriculum standards.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to reach students with diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Design and administer consistent, objective assessments to evaluate student progress.
• Adapt materials and methods to support individual learning needs.
• Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behavior and self-discipline.
• Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and families to support academic growth.
• Participate in school initiatives, meetings, and professional collaboration.
• Follow school policies and maintain professional conduct at all times.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Valid Ohio Resident Educator or Professional Teaching License for Middle Childhood (4–9) with Math and/or Science endorsement.
• Knowledge of instructional best practices in math and science education.
• Strong classroom management and organization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for maintaining records and reports.
