Overview

As an Electronics Technician at Microwave Products Group – Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will support the military community by testing, aligning, and troubleshooting cosite modules.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Setup and perform technical electronic test functions with the aid of written procedures and instructions
  • Troubleshoot modules performance to the circuit card component level
  • Perform mechanical assembly such as installing covers
  • Perform component‑level troubleshooting and repair of RF cosite subsystems
  • Use schematics, PCB/PWB layouts, mechanical drawings, and work instructions
  • Operate oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power amplifiers, frequency counters, power meters, and automated test sets
Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities
  • Well versed in the use of common RF test equipment including calibration and troubleshooting equipment
  • Knowledge of power amplifiers, synthesizers, power supplies, digital control circuitry, RF filter principles such as bandwidth, Q, insertion loss, and return loss, and an advanced understanding of filter alignment and component function
  • PC skills required for data entry and use of test software
  • Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot complex circuits
  • Experience with commonly used test equipment such as oscilloscope, multimeter, power supplies, and network analyzer
  • Ability to interface effectively with internal customers and work closely with all levels of the organization
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to read drawings and blueprints
  • Ability to obtain an IPC‑610 certification
Requirements
  • Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident – Green Card Holder)
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2‑year degree in an electronics field from an accredited college, university or technical school required
  • Minimum 2 years of RF‑related technician or equivalent experience required
  • Knowledge of J‑STD‑001 preferred and ability to obtain certification once employed required

This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
