UC Health is hiring a full-time Cardiac Sonographer for the vascular lab department for first shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. We’re offering a $15,000 sign-on bonus!
The Cardiac Sonographer will perform all echo cardiographic diagnostic modalities with the ability to utilize a variety of equipment to determine accurate assessment of cardiac function, anatomy and physiology flow parameters.

QualificationsEducation and Experience Requirements:
- Education:
Completion of a two-year Allied Health degree and successful completion of a 12 month CAAHEP approved School of Ultrasound Technology, or Cardiovascular Technology, or equivalenteducation. Work requires sufficient education/training to acquire American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification in cardiac ultrasound, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS). - License and
Certifications:
ARDMS/CCI Certification within 12 months of employment - Experience:
Required clinical hours to become registry eligible. - Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate competency on current practice of echocardiography: cognitive, technical, interpersonal and communication skills necessary for the performance of adult, geriatric, adolescence echocardiography.
