Planes is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team. In this leadership role, you will oversee key accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, manage the monthly close process, and lead a team of accounting professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering with leadership to support business success.

Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team by providing coaching, performance feedback, training, and mentorship while fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

• Lead the monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Present financial results and insights to the leadership team.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
• Lead and coordinate the annual audit process and work closely with external auditors.
• Calculate monthly commissions for the sales team.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage sales and use tax compliance.
