Production Manager
Location: Olde West Chester

We are seeking a dedicated Sub-Assembly Supervisor to join our team and play a pivotal role in achieving production schedules aligned with cost, quality, and lead time objectives. This role corvers the hours of End-of-Week schedule from Thursday through Saturday, 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Overtime may be required to accommodate shift hand-offs, meetings, training sessions, and project work.
What will you do?- Production Schedule Achievement: Ensure the successful attainment of sub-assembly production schedules while maintaining focus on cost efficiency, quality standards, and lead time targets.
- Material Transactions: Accurately transact material within the MRP system to maintain inventory integrity and support production requirements.
- Line Feeding: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of sub-assembly components to the main production line to prevent downtime and maintain flow.
- Team Training: Organize and address the training needs of teams to enhance their skills and knowledge, fostering a continuous learning environment.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the enhancement of sub-assembly processes, leveraging your expertise to drive improvements and efficiencies.
- People Management: Take ownership of people management, including:
- Goal setting
- Performance development and engagement
- Daily time-keeping
- Recognition and disciplinary management
- Safety Focus: Cultivate a safety-first attitude among all employees, promoting a secure and compliant work environment.
- Group Performance Ownership: Assume responsibility for the achievement of group performance goals and objectives, guiding your team towards success.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
- Manufacturing Expertise: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices, showing your ability to navigate the intricacies of production environments.
- Lean Principles: Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, indicating your commitment to continuous improvement.
- Supervisory
Experience:
Prior experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing setting is preferred, demonstrating your leadership acumen. - Communication
Skills:
Exhibit exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders. - Problem-Solving: Display strong analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing you to identify challenges and implement solutions.
