• Proactively engage customers in need of assistance, accurately identify their requirements through insightful questioning, and recommend optimal home solutions.
• Build furniture as needed for In Shape As New, introduction of new products, commercial calendar implementation and remodels.
• Keep the area of responsibility clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked.
• Express enthusiasm for IKEA products by expanding knowledge of features and benefits and share this expertise with customers to guide decision-making.
• Understand the store and department action plans and actively contribute to achieving department goals.
• Implement, maintain and change out Add-Ons throughout the store to help achieve sales volume, conversion and gross margin goals.
• Optimize sales and profitability by guiding customers toward high-priority and best-selling products.
• Analyze and adjust sales space capacities based on system parameters to secure high stock availability.
• Support the implementation and upkeep of planned commercial activities in or involving your range.
• Develop specialized knowledge through training to be able to sell and plan basic modular furniture solutions.
• Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

• High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• 1 year’s relevant work experience.
• Experience in retail, preferably in the home furnishing sector.
• Experience in actively selling through understanding customers and their needs.

• Competitive pay range: $17.24–$24.58 per hour, based on relevant experience
• Must be 18 years or older
• Authorized to work in the US
• Open availability required (8:00 am – 11:00 pm)
