General FunctionThe Store Manager is an on‑floor leader who performs all store functions and serves as a guide and role model for the team. They coach, develop, and inspire associates so that everyone in the store delivers the Sunglass Hut Experience, turning it into sales.
MajorDuties & Responsibilities
- Utilize the Sunglass Hut Experience tools to consistently deliver on sales plans and company objectives.
- Develop the store’s strategic plan to achieve financial results.
- Drive sales by identifying opportunities to achieve personal and store goals.
- Lead by example: coach, develop, mentor and inspire the team to enhance store performance.
- Use a people‑first philosophy to grow careers, encourage teamwork and retain talent.
- Recruit, hire, and train staff using the onboarding tools of the Sunglass Hut Experience.
- Build an emotional connection within the store team that translates into sales and ensures every associate delivers the Sunglass Hut Experience.
- Spend 100 % of time present on the sales floor.
- Continually coach and develop the team to ensure consistent implementation of the Sunglass Hut Experience.
- Develop customer relationships through interaction and feedback.
- Act as an ambassador for the Sunglass Hut brand and reinforce brand standards.
- Stay knowledgeable of products and new merchandise/fashion trends.
- Maintain impeccable execution of operational policies and procedures.
- Communicate promotions, contests and incentives to the team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous leadership experience of 2 + years.
- Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of store operations.
- Detail‑oriented and critical‑thinking skills to execute operational components.
- Customer service and/or retail experience.
Salary is determined by geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
