The Shepherd Color Company is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our sales team. PositionResponsibilities
- Maintain and grow sales in designated accounts within North and South America
- Visit and contact customers and prospects on a regular basis
- Generate and follow up on leads, sample, and technical requests
- Establish and maintain relationships across all accounts to ensure highest levels of satisfaction and cooperation
- Bachelor’s degree required in a technical field
- 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the inorganic pigment industry
- Exercises personal initiative and independent judgment
- Excellent listening skills
- Strong customer and market application knowledge
- Strong sales and negotiating skills
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to coordinate, cooperate and function in a team environment
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Ability to balance multiple, competing, and high priority demands
- Detail oriented
- Professional appearance/presence
- Demonstrated success working with cross‑functional teams
- 30-40% travel required
- Position is based out of our Cincinnati, OH office
