As a Security Officer - Access Control Desk in West Chester, OH
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security‑related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while managing access points. • Job Schedule: Mon 11:00 AM – 07:00 PM, Tue 11:00 AM – 07:00 PM, Fri 11:00 AM – 07:00 PM, Sat 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Monitor and control access points to help deter unauthorized entry into the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe for unusual activity or potential security‑related concerns.
• Document observations and incidents according to company and client requirements.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security‑related matters as necessary.
• Assist with visitor and employee identification and/or badging procedures as required by site policies.
• Remain alert to potential threats and/or suspicious activity within the location, reporting findings as appropriate.
• Support the implementation of security‑related procedures and policies specific to the tech, media, and telecom environment.

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
