Maintenance Technician

• Performs various skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair machines (mechanical and electrical).
• Test, maintain, repair and evaluate equipment performance using instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers and pressure gauges.
• Installs electrical conduit, wiring, switching devices, controls, outlets, fixtures, motors and other equipment, compliant with electrical code.
• Checks and repairs pumps, fans, valves and motors.
• Adjusts, repairs and replaces electrical and electronic pneumatic relays.
• Prepares accurate records for preventive maintenance.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
• Interacts with associates in scheduling and performing work.

• Must have knowledge in motor controls, electronics, blueprint and schematics reading, CNC repair and a mechanical background.
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of personnel effectively and be a team player.
• Able to use basic math to add, subtract, multiply or divide and may work with fractions, decimals or percentages.
• Able to use own resources to assure quality workmanship and assumes responsibility for own work.
• Must have a safety background with experience in Lockout/Tagout, Electrical Safety, Crane Safety and Confined Spaces.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on occasion and lift up to 50 lbs overhead.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.

Education Requirements:

AS degree in a technical field (engineering, maintenance) or equivalent experience.
