The position is responsible for maintaining machine operations for foam cups, performing basic operator maintenance, and handling equipment repairs in a manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities- Record timely checks to ensure only quality product is manufactured and enters the packing bins.
- Comply with all safety rules, policies, procedures and practices, including lock‑out/tag‑out of production equipment when required.
- Diagnose and determine cause of machine malfunctions and perform operator repairs on assigned machines.
- Perform scrap bin checks, line checks, and all quality tests to monitor product quality; identify defective finished goods.
- Maintain established cycle times on assigned machines to meet production goals.
- Immediately respond to any defective cups identified by packers or packing technicians.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Perform daily preventive maintenance, including eliminating all air, steam, and water leaks.
- Communicate timely with Production Lead or Supervisor regarding raw material, machine, handling equipment, quality, or other issues.
- Follow Win Cup OPERA Values, safety initiatives, and plant standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Two years in a manufacturing environment tending a production machine (preferred).
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Read, write and speak English.
- Follow directives from leadership, managers, and supervisors to sustain productivity and target levels.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures, including manufacturing and safety policies, are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with plant and safety leadership.
- Complete mandated new manufacturing training on equipment to maximize output efficiencies.
- Support all current and new product introductions.
- Indoor manufacturing environment not air‑conditioned.
- Wear PPE: hairnet, hearing protection, safety glasses with side guards.
- 12‑hour shift starting at 6:50 a.m. (day) or 6:50 p.m. (night).
- Work weekdays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Pre‑employment physical pass required.
- 12‑hour shift with standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, grasping, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Manual movement of cases of finished goods and bagger film weighing up to 40 pounds.
