Position Type: Full‑Time
Schedule: Monday‑Friday (Occasional Saturdays)
Compensation: Base Hourly + Commissions
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of a pest control route. Apply pesticides to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions.
- Follow a daily schedule, ensuring timely arrival at each customer’s home. A company vehicle is provided.
- Discuss the scope of service with the customer.
- Assist in sales.
- Utilize in‑house training provided to decide the most efficient pest solution for customer needs.
- Provide the best pest control and eradication services in the industry.
- Recommend and provide estimates for one‑time treatments and continual maintenance to new and existing customers.
- Complete all scheduled customer appointments on time in accordance with Company policies and local rules and regulations.
- Serve as the subject‑matter expert for customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer’s needs.
- Use all safety equipment as instructed.
- Maintain professional appearance and equipment in working order, including vehicle, uniform, application equipment, PPE, paperwork, and literature.
- Devote full attention and time during working hours to performance of duties as directed by supervisor and Company.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills – verbal, written, and in person.
- Strong customer service and presentation skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and kneel/bend as necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
- Self‑motivated and results driven.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Pass background check and drug screen.
- Experience in pest control preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and use an iPad.
- Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and employees.
