Warehouse Associate

Job Description

A company in the city of West Chicago that provides education, healthcare & hospitality furniture is looking for a Warehouse Associate.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity. 1st Shift : 7 am-4 pm Monday-Friday Pay rate : $19.00

• Loading, unloading, sorting, and staging inbound trucks and containers manually in a safe manner.
• Transporting products, accurately pulling / preparing orders for processing of shipments and returns, to include accepting return authorizations.
• Preparing supply orders; pulling materials; and packing boxes. Reorganizing pallet racking systems as required and organizing stock by size, type, style, and or product code.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat by sweeping, dusting, and mopping as needed.

• 2-3 years of previous warehouse experience
• Previous forklift experience preferred
• Communicates professionally and politely with customers, sales personnel, and internal staff.
• Basic computer knowledge preferred.
• High attention to detail.
